In its resolution 59/5, the Human Rights Council decided to extend the mandate of Independent Expert on protection against violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, for a period of three years, and requested the Independent Expert to continue to report annually on the implementation of the mandate to the Council. The Council will consider the reports of the mandate holder, Graeme Reid, during an interactive dialogue.

In its resolution 53/8, the Human Rights Council decided to extend the mandate of Special Rapporteur on the elimination of discrimination against persons affected by leprosy and their family members, for a period of three years, and requested the Special Rapporteur to continue to report annually to the Council. The Council will consider the report of the mandate holder, Beatriz Miranda-Galarza (), during an interactive dialogue.

The Council will consider the reports of the mandate holder, Elisa Morgera, during an interactive dialogue.
