In its resolution 53/12, the Human Rights Council decided to extend the mandate of Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers for a period of three years. The Council will consider the reports of the mandate holder, Margaret Satterthwaite, during an interactive dialogue.

For all interactive dialogues, the online inscription for the lists of speakers for States opens on Tuesday, 9 June at 2 p.m. and will close 2 hours before the meeting in which the respective debate is scheduled to start.

Speaking time is 1.5 minutes for all.
