In its resolution 53/4, the Human Rights Council decided to extend the mandate of Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, for three years, and requested the Special Rapporteur, in carrying out the mandate, to continue to examine situations of extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, in all circumstances and for whatever reason, and to submit the findings to the Council on an annual basis, together with conclusions and recommendations. The Council will consider the reports of the mandate holder, Morris Tidball-Binz, during an interactive dialogue.
