In its resolution 53/7, the Human Rights Council decided to extend the mandate of Special Rapporteur on the right to education, for a further period of three years, and requested the Special Rapporteur to continue to submit an annual report to the Council covering all activities relating to the mandate. The Council will consider the reports of the mandate holder, Farida Shaheed, during an interactive dialogue.
